So we put the checks in one place.

That’s pretty much it.

What we won’t do

We don’t guess. If a platform won’t give us a trustworthy answer we say Unknown and give you the link, rather than dressing up a 404 as good news.

We don’t log in as anyone, work around rate limits, or defeat the checks platforms put up to stop automated traffic. That rules out a few platforms entirely. We think that’s the right trade.

And we don’t reserve names, hold names, or sell names. When something’s free, we point you at the place you can take it.
